Farid Boudinar aka DJ FEX, started his career in a small club techno (L’Ilnox) in Tours, back in 1994. At the same time he opens a record shop and hosts a weekly show, to play new releases from House to Techno, on a local radio station.

In 1998, he settles down in Paris and quickly becomes the resident Dj of some of the biggest and Mythic parisian parties : « House of Legend », « Diskotek » « Club BPM » at the famous club L’enfer, and « Scream » at L’Elysée Montmartre....

He releases his first production (First Coming) with his always mate DJ Phantom
Three 12inch were released from this collaboration, then Farid decided to go to a school of Audio Engineer, to get the basis, and to be autonomous…

The hit “INDIE WALK”, was « the French Techno Parade’s hymn » in 2002, with more than 50 000 sales, with a video clip and blablabla…
But nothing has changed his identity, playing a House between the Electro and the Techno, sensual and mysterious, always choosing the originality than the ease, taking risks as each his dj- sets as his productions…
2005 he founded Robotronic Recordings, to release some new talents, and his own productions. To go deep in his determination to explore and promote his vision of the Electronic music, non stop evolutive…
Since then, he signed his production on brilliant labels as : Serial, Brique Rouge, Hypnotic, Dessous, Visitor, Gourmet…

Dj FEX continues playing all over the country and he’s, as well, touring the globe : Anvers; Bangkok ; Singapore ;Hong-Kong ; Shanghai; Istanbul, Ibiza, NYC, Miami, Skoppje, Gent,
Genève…

His favorite DJS are Laurent Garnier, Richie Hawtin, and his favorite Lives are Reinhard Voight and Hardfloor…Kraftwerk are his number one reference…
